Layover
Antalya Airport has two international terminals, and Terminal 2 is reached by inter-terminal shuttle rather than on foot — so how you spend the time depends on how long your layover is, which terminal you land in, and whether you have to change terminals at all.
How much time do you actually have
Antalya Airport's official minimum connection time is 40 minutes, but treat that as a floor, not a target. A Schengen-to-Schengen connection usually takes 45–75 minutes; a non-Schengen arrival connecting onward needs at least 90 minutes for passport control; and a connection that switches between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is closer to 2 hours.
A few hours to kill
With 2–3 hours free, head to the Terminal 2 Visitors Terrace (Level 05, via the glass Skywalk) for runway views and telescopes, open 8 AM–10 PM. There's also an airport brewery, a casino, and — for families — a themed kids' playground with a slide-equipped control-tower replica right next to a restaurant.
Need to rest or work
NapCabs — private sleeping pods with a bed, TV, and Wi-Fi — are located airside in Terminal 2 (Level 4 near Gate 6, and Level 5 near Gate H32), bookable by the hour. For a quieter seat without booking a pod, Airport Lounge World day passes (from €72) get you Wi-Fi, buffets, and workstations, mainly in Terminal 2.
Long enough to leave the airport
If your layover stretches past several hours and your visa/Schengen status allows it, the AntRay Tram puts central Antalya under an hour away. Just build in enough time to clear security and passport control again on the way back.
