Taxis are the most flexible transport option from Antalya Airport (AYT), offering door-to-door service with no schedule to follow. Here's what to expect — and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Finding a Taxi
Official taxi ranks (marked «TAKSI») are located directly outside the arrivals exits of T1 and T2. Always use the official ranks — do not accept rides from drivers who approach you inside the terminal building.
Fares
Taxis in Antalya use metered fares within the city. To the city centre, expect to pay approximately 200–350 Turkish lira. For longer journeys to resort areas like Belek (approx. 300–500 TL), Kemer (approx. 400–600 TL) or Side (approx. 600–900 TL), negotiate a fixed price before departing.
Night Rates
A night tariff (gece tarifesi) applies between midnight and 06:00, which adds approximately 50% to the standard rate. This is normal and regulated — check that the correct tariff is displayed on the meter.
Alternatives
If you want price certainty, consider pre-booking a private transfer through a platform like GetTransfer — the price is locked in at booking, regardless of time of day or traffic conditions.
