The AntRay Tram from Antalya Airport: Everything You Need to Know

The AntRay (ANTRAY) tramway system is Antalya's light rail transit network. Line T1 provides a direct connection between Antalya Airport (AYT) and the city centre, making it the most affordable and reliable transport option for independent travellers.

The Route

Line T1 runs from Havalimanı (Airport) station through the city, stopping at Meydan, Işıklar, Otogar (Bus Station), and Ismetpasa in the centre. The full journey is around 40 minutes.

Tickets and Payment

AntRay uses the AntalyaKart system — a rechargeable transit card. You cannot pay with cash on the tram. Purchase or top up your AntalyaKart at vending machines near the airport tram stop, or at ANTRAY service points in the city.

Timetable

Trams operate from approximately 06:00 to 23:00, with departures every 10–15 minutes during peak hours. The last tram back to the airport leaves around 22:30 — always check the current timetable on the official ANTRAY website.

Tips

The tram does not have dedicated luggage storage — if you have large cases, consider the Havas shuttle or a taxi instead. Validate your card by touching the reader at the platform gate before boarding.
